Kayla M. Cook is a writer and speaker who is passionate about encouraging women to love God and the people He gave them, one ordinary day at a time. With candor, humor, and a "what you see is what you get" approach, Kayla points out God's faithfulness in her stories to help you see His faithfulness in your own. She writes and speaks with a team of five other women who are writers, artists, teachers, and speakers at Create In Us Collective.

A former math teacher to middle schoolers, one of Kayla's favorite things is taking concepts that feel daunting and abstract and making them more concrete and applicable for an audience. She loves and believes whole-heartedly in the local church and can often be found at hers, doing anything from leading Bible studies to stacking chairs. Kayla has good hair that can usually be found in a messy bun and loves buffalo wings, worship music, hand lettering, and Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, their daughter, and two poodle-mixes.
